I'm a writer and artist at heart. I don't think my art is near good enough to sell, but I enjoy it. Hopefully my writing proves better. I consider myself creative, but my perfectionism and sense of "but it has to make sense and heels in combat don't" can stifle me at times.
I've moved three times in three years. Currently, I'm in Broken Arrow, OK -Say HI if you're close by, I'm in need of new peeps- I'm old enough to have had my quarter life crisis, in the last year. Seriously, new home, new friends, ex-boyfriend, job, state, clothes, almost a new car, chopped all my hair off. I've got the works going!
Summer of 2012, I studied abroad with Semester At Sea on the exclusive "Maymester" voyage -they stopped offering it after a few runs cuz it broke their rich munny grubbing piggie banks- I visited Costa Rica, Pacific side -with mom the week before sailing- then off to Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica Gulf side, Belize, and finally, finishing in Florida. Was fun, would take a less touristy route next time to visit other countries.
In 2013, I graduated from college with a BA in Environmental Geography and double minored in Anthropology and Sociology -because I couldn't make up my mind and just pick one and have this grand idea of saving humanity and the planet before bedtime.-
I'm NOT internet and social media savvy. I'm hoping to improve, but it's increasingly looking as if I will need a PR manager if I ever want to make a real impression.
While waiting for my new job with Americorps: Reading Partners Tulsa: Site Coordinator, I've been working on a Gravity Falls Fan-fiction and a comic series. The show stole my attention back in November of 2015 and hasn't let me alone. Blasted obsessions.
My life long obsession of 10+ years -that's long enough to consider a tattoo for it right?- is to my original work, Azura.
(Tisagi-people who can teleport to other places to complete their destiny- have Azurian Guardians who protect them and help them on their journey. It starts out following a few Tisagi and their Guardians who get embroiled in some big plot to destroy Death, which could destroy everything. Overtime, the focus turns to the Azurians and the storm brewing on their homeworld that will have ramifications spanning whole universes. (It's a LOT of world building, so eat it Tolkien, with your one Middle Earth.)
